Season of Sauvignon celebration

On the 29th and 30th October 2016 is the infamous Durbanville Valley Season of Sauvignon, and this year for the entire month of October we, at Hillcrest, will be celebrating and saluting Sauvignon Blanc and our new 2016 wine releases by hosting a variety of events. Briefly outlined below is the months lineup. Blog posts and our socials handles will release all further details in the following days– so watch this space!! 


ACOUSTIC EVENING WITH GERRY LIBERTY

This evening celebrates the start of Season of Sauvignon, and marks the launch of our ever popular summer tapas evenings.

WHEN: 7 October 2016 at 7pm
WHERE: In the Hillcrest Restaurant
BOOKING: Tickets are R 150 per person and include a complimentary glass of Sauvignon Blanc and an Olive Tasting Platter. Booking is essential, and the first confirmed group booking of 8 people or more get a free mixed case of red and white wine. SUNDAY LUNCH WITH THE WINE MAKER
Raising a glass to a successful harvest and sampling some of our newest vintages with our wine maker Arno Smith.

WHEN: 16 October 2016 at 12h30
WHERE: Outside on the restaurant lawn (weather permitting) or in the restaurant.

PASTA MAKING DEMO
Back due to popular demand…. A fabulous evening learning how to make the ultimate pasta, hosted and demonstrated by the Hillcrest Chef Debbie.

The official Durbanville Valley Season of Sauvignon Festival

THEME: Artisanal market with live music, Gerry Liberty, and the likes of The Boer and Butcher, kids entertainment and Hillcrest wines and olive products available for tasting and purchasing.
