Hillcrest’s extra virgin olive oil is made of handpicked olives. It’s processed within 24 hours after picking, filtered and stored under a nitrogen blanket in stainless steel tanks at 18°C. The oil is kept in bulk tanks and only bottled when required. Hillcrest’s oil is made up from a blend of mission and Frantoio olives, picked at different ripe stages. Our Extra Virgin Olive oil has medium to delicate fruitiness with a slight bitter to sweet taste and a vibrant peppery sensation on the soft palate. These all contribute to excellent oil.
