A Surcharge of R500.00 per hour or part thereof will be charged after function hours.
Seating Capacity
Hillcrest can seat a maximum of 60 people. A minimum attendance of 40 people are required for functions. For exclusive use of the venue the full venue fee will apply for parties less than 40. A Marquee Tent can be arranged for functions larger than 60 people at an additional cost. If you provide your own tent, you will be liable for any damages regarding set-up and breakdown procedures for damages occured on private property. Tent prices range from R5000 - R15000, depending on size, colour etc.

Bar Facilities
Hillcrest Estate has a selection of Estate Wines for sale. A cash or account bar can be organized per request. The bar can remain open from 12h00 00h00.Bar staff charges are R50 per hour and will be paid for set-up porposes for a minimum of one hour before a function, and for a minimum of two hours for cleaning after a function.
Our corkage fee is R20 per 750ml. Only White, Red and Sparkling wine is permitted.
Waiter Hire
Waiters are charged a service fee of 10% on the total bill during the course of the function. Waiters will charge R30 per hour for a minimum of one hour before a function for set-up purposes and R30 per hour for a minimum of one hour after a function for cleaning puroses.
D้cor
Any d้cor items to be hired in will be at an additional cost. All cutlery, crockery, linen, drapings, tables and chairs will be charged to your account.
Deposit / Payment
A 50% deposit is required of the total food bill to secure your booking within five working days of the provisional booking. Full payment is required on the day of the function.
Cancellation Policy
Deposit will be forfeited should the function be cancelled one month or less prior to the function. Should the function be cancelled 7 days or less prior to the function 50% of the total bill will be forfeited. Cancellation of the function four days or less prior to the function you will be held liable for the total cost of the function.
Menu
We have a variety of set menus on offer. We are happy to cater to your specific needs and requirements. Our kitchen is not Halaal but Halaal meals can be ordered in on request. Outside catering is not permitted. No desserts, cakes etc. may be brought in by guests.
Smoking
No smoking is allowed in the restaurant or cellar.
PLEASE NOTE: Hillcrest Estate Durbanville does not accept any liability for loss or damage to any item or property of customers or guests, should such losses occur. The customer will be held responsible for any damage caused to furnishings or utensils, through any act, default or neglect of the customer or guest of any customer, and shall pay to Hillcrest Estate Durbanville the amount required to make good or remedy of any such damage.
